Today is the most depressing time of the year for me.
Christmas is over. New Years Eve has past us. I’m back at work. We have another year to wait for Christmas TV specials.
I have a sadness in my heart that can only be fixed with gingerbread houses and claymation Santa’s.
Anyways…here are some photos from our holiday!
The holidays are not complete without eating everything in sight…here is a felt sandwich my niece Lily made for me. It was pack with fibers…
The tree was amazing and stuffed with goodies. Katie actually found the pickle ornament! (whoever finds the pickle gets to open the first present).
Lily received her own puppet theater!
We all receved our annual Christmas eve books! Mine was amazing…read this.
But more importantly Katie got me my very own sword!!!!!!!! I’m ready for Zombies, Dragons or Scott now.
Katie and I discovered we want to wait for children…(they are quite lovely but I’m just not ready for that many diaper changes)
And Katie found her spirit animal!
On a more serious note – This was Katie’s first Christmas with the Carrothers (and away from clan Hudson). I couldn’t have been more proud of her or my family. They welcomed her warmly and gave her some fantastic gifts to remind her of her new last name
It was an amazing break. It was much needed. I miss it dearly.
Thank you Mom and Dad for hosting! It was a perfect holiday.
